The Tetra Pak phone
While researching for a post on price models, I found this blog from a product development company called Kaleidoscope. Check it out they’ve got some cool ideas. My favourite was their green phone idea - LINC.
Subscription-based price model, fully recyclable and well designed. With the ambition of a offering the phone becomes a service. What would make it even better is if it was built on top of Android and leverage from the open source movement to secure continued software innovation. Then the hardware of the phone would simply be the recyclable packaging. Less like SonyEricsson more like Tetra Pak.
