What’s the time? Jonas

Time

Chartreuse is back with a great post. Interesting thoughts about how time is becoming less important as we know it and that relevance beats time every day of the week and two times on Monday.

Meaning that it’s what my friends says is hot rather than what the big grey mass of people determine is hot. If my friends says Kung-fu Panda is great, even if it’s the least watched movie, then I still probably go see it without even knowing that it is the least watched movie.

I would like to strech this to include not only your friends but also your reference groups. These groups play a very important part to what we like and choose. You’ll have reference groups in different areas but these groups determine what I do, buy and choose more than any popularity list.

So when it’s relevant to me I’ll seek up what my peeps have written about a certain product, then I’ll decide what to buy, often without ever looking at the popularity list or what’s hot right now. It really doesn’t matter.

Go read it.
