Pizza delivery done right
This is so far ahead of the Swedish “pizza industry” that I get sad over the state of this country. Just read the following:
Pizza Tracker will allow customers to know when their order is being prepared, when it’s out of the oven, and when it’s out the door and on its way. It even includes the first name of the person delivering the order…Pizza Tracker is linked directly to the computers inside the pizza stores using Domino’s Pulse and is accurate to within 40 seconds…
I need this. Please.
pizza, dominos, e-pizza, pizzaleverans, hemleverans

No, you don’t need this! At least not for nourishing your body…
But I agree that the tracking concept is badly needed in so many places. There must be thousands delivery services that could use this thinking. And with RFID-tags there will be millons more of usefull applications, (and many integrity dangers as well…)

Ok, agreed. I don’t need this. At all.
But as you mention, the tracking concept is something that most companies can get better at. The rumuored collaboration between Starbucks and Apple is one example of a delivery service taking it one step further, without the use of something so complex as RFID.
