Songbird is out
Songbird, labeled as the Open media browser, has its first release candidate out now. It’s good stuff.
As with Spotify, it looks and feels a bit like iTunes, apart from not having to accept the prison rules of Apple. But Songbird just make it fun to find good music and since you can scan and search pretty much all over the web it’s easy to find, share and save good music.
Based on the Mozilla project it’s an open source media browser, here’s a good screencast of how it works. Naturally we took to opportunity to put a little Songbird on the blog just because it look so damn fine.
