Keeping it short on structure
Ok, I’m probably out on a narrow and dangerous path here so I’ll try to keep it short.
But as this points out and several people have earlier as well, the development of structured data plays and will play an increasingly important part in web development.
A structured web would be one where information would be much more accessible and allowing more people to take advantage of the information mass that is available.
Naturally that would be a foundation for many new services to build on. Much like Dopplr is using Microformats to open up and allow the user to actually use the information gathered at Dopplr at the location most suitable and convenient for the user.
So a more structured web will drive focus and power to the user. It foremostly will create a better experience for me. Sweet!
