Regarding Yahoo by Jonas

In this (strange) video Kara Swisher is interviewing among (many) others Roger Macnamee. One of the few that has an interesting answer to the question: What should Yahoo do?

He says (as I hear it:):

Yahoo need to change their metric they measure themselves with. They’re never going to catch google on monetizing of search, it’s not even a relevant problem to solve for them. Instead they should focus on that they have one of the largest websites in the world and have a 100 mm users that need them to do more interesting stuff than they’re doing now. They need to improve their editorial content and connectivity between their products. This will deliver a more valuable product both for users and advertisers and be a much more valuable business.

Pretty much damn right.
