A sheep named Dolly… by Jonathan

There are few things that tech bloggers love to do more than to stone a clone. We experienced it, here in Sweden, with Digg clones that popped up last autumn. Now, I do think it can be a rather fine line between cloning and taking an idea and developing upon it. It lies somewhere in the significance of the progression.

But you might find the confusion towards AOL’s most recent “Dolly”-job (note, their Netscape.com Digg-clone took a bit of a beating) with their new homepage. Tell me if you see any resemblence in these two layouts:

    For the record, this was posted 40 minutes before I received the TechCrunch feed. Just a precursor to a “cloning a clone post” comment.
