Eniro is doing some serious shopping by Jonas

Tonight Dagens media broke the news that Eniro has bought a minority stake in one of the major Swedish video communities, Bubblare.se. Good or bad? Not sure, but after buying leta.se a couple of weeks ago it seems that Eniro and the larger media corporations in Sweden are chosing the strategy of growing through acquisitions. Not sure Bubblare.se is the right site to buy, with not a huge amount of traffic and a very basic technology there are no real competitive advantages for Bubblare compared to other video communities such as fejmtv. Mikael at Emerge is saying that Bubblare has been searching for capital to afford the growing bandwidth costs. Anyway congratulations to Oskar Kalmaru and his team, always fun to get some cash to spend!

As some indicate, Videoboom.com might have been a smarter purchase since that site has what many experts call the next big thing, i.e. C+C (content + cash). Videoboom is a very similar to revver.com where users receive 50% of the ad revenues generated from their clips.
